How can You Tell If You Are In A Poisonous Relationship

http://www.to-get-your-ex-back.com

How can you tell if you are in a corrosive relationship? Here are quite a few clues:

· Your mate puts you down (verbally) in front of other folks
· While your significant other says they are fond of you, their behaviors don’t back it up.
· Your significant other is domineering – going through your mail or "attending" at places you are just to "check up" on you.
· Your spouse tries to make you reliant on them.
· You have revised things about one's self to make them happy.

Destructive people make you feel sick just being close to them. So, why would any of us end up in a damaging relationship? Why would any of us want to be with somebody who makes them feel psychologically or physically harmed?

A disadvantageous relationship has a succession
. There’s a period, followed by a blow up, followed by a settlement – at which point the cycle begins over again.

When you first meet a new lover, you are Without a doubt in the honeymoon phase. It is not until they’ve taken you in further that you realize that you are in a counterproductive relationship. At this moment, it is challenging to get out.

One good reason is that many people in venomous relationships come of age in toxic homes. As a result, they repeat the patterns of their childhood without even realizing they’re doing it. And, they may not understand any better. Many others believe they do not merit pleasure. Still others find that they enjoy helping people.

But the first part in getting out and staying out of unhealthy relationships is to recognize that you do have opportunities. Often people who stay in these conditions have low self confidence or suffer from melancholy.

Once you appreciate that you have alternatives, the next step is to start standing up for yourself. In most harmful relationships, the destructive lover has showed you that it is all your wrongdoing. Once you subscribe into this, it can be very challenging to either walk away from the relationship or set new boundaries that can restore the relationship.

For some people, working in therapy groups can help them either get out of or redefine these horrible relationships.

The good news is that some people are able to break the cycles of venomous relationships. Some of them leave the relationship and form new, healthier bonds.

But others are actually able to restore their relationship and stay in it.

The truth is that most relationships are able to be rescued. Sometimes it takes a little space. Other times, it takes counseling. But if both partners make an attempt, it is possible to repair the bonds in a healthy way.

The first thing you need to conclude is that the relationship must progress or you’re willing to leave. If you aren’t willing to leave, you’ll never be able to improve that which separates you.

Once you have unshackled yourself from the dependency that is at the core of a venomous relationship, you can set out to assert what you need from the relationship. Don’t bug the other person. Just say “I need your assistance,” “I need your love,” or “I need your truthful opinion.”

If you don’t get what you require, the other person should be aware that you’re geared up to walk.

A healthy relationship is a two way street. In a deadly relationship, the street is only going one way. You have the capability to change that, but you must take the power into your own hands.
